Remembering the good times...

There was a time when I was really /really/ into webdesign. I poured my life into it. Heck, I actually did some pretty big freelance jobs. But as of late, I've fallen out of love with it, but I've recently gotten back into the swing of things.

But wow, I'm looking back on some of my older stuff that I did with NekoKoneko (my old blog) as well as Greywing (my Haibane Renmei fansite) and I was just totally blown away. This is oldschool webdesign from 5~6 years ago. With tables and not divs. I just didn't understand them back then... I just didn't. And now, I can't live without them. Looking back on them, it's still wow. Like I did that with tables. I designed it and it was pretty.

Content-wise, I was really surprised at the Haibane Renmei website. Had I continued working on it, it would have been completely and totally fleshed out. Like 100%. Although at its current state, it's nearly 95% which is not bad at all.

And my old blog was so precious. I can't believe I actually made a mini-site of my updates related to the Olympics in Torino. And it was actually nicely designed imo.

However, if you wanted to look through my blog, you'd be able to do it only through some of the archives. Due to neglect, a lot of spam comments got through and that broke the software for posting to the point I can do nothing with it.

And who can I thank for everything? Well, my good old friend AuldDragon. He gave me webspace some years ago, and even though we have fallen out of contact with each other... It still exists. He's one of the people I need to make contact with again even if it's just to say "OMFG!!! THANKS FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOREVER AND EVER!!!!!"
