Yesterday, I got a lovely little sample bottle of Bath & Body Works' newest fragrance Pink Chiffon. They describe it as "a light-as-air pairing of soft pink petals & vanilla chiffon icing."
Whatever that means, I thought. When I think of chiffon, I think the fabric and I'm very familiar with cakes so I was like "What kind of icing is chiffon icing?"
Then Google helped me out and reminded me of
chiffon cake. Well, that makes a lot of sense now. That explains the sweetness of the fragrance.
It largely reminds me of another favorite fragrance of mine from there (Paris Amour) but much lighter and sweeter. It's fruity and floral and sugary all at the same time. As the scent fades, it feels as if I could nibble my hand as a yummy treat.
And the scent is as pure and sweet as you could imagine. It's a perfect scent for everyday wear. Heck, if I like the fragrance in other forms when it comes out next month, it may replace my current daily scent.
Sadly, not too much to say about it other than that I hate that I love it so much.
