During my little deviation from everyday life, my mom bought me a new bag. She had wanted me to get one forever. My old one was falling apart and since I'm so picky when it comes to bags, I could never settle on one I liked. Fast forward to me losing my job and the ability to buy anything and you have me with a majorly deteriorating bag and a mom trying desperately to put just about any other bag on my shoulder to replace it.
Well, she actually did well.
She found this lovely gem at Goodwill. A Goodwill that often gets practically new stuff from Target :) So I ended up getting this lovely Merona Quilted Chain Satchel in Mushroom (thank you power of Google) from this summer in excellent, unused condition. I saw it instore long long time ago and liked it so to get it now is awesome for me!!!
It's got this lovely pocket on the back which is just uber convenient for my phone and other little things.
And there's so much space on the inside that I don't have to fish around to find what I need inside.
But the sad thing about it, the zipper pull is broken :( I guess that's why Target couldn't sell it... But that's not bad for me. Once I get to a craft store, I'm totally picking up stuffs I need to make my own awesome zipper pull. But for now, I'm using an old jump ring I found laying around that really does the trick.
And while I'm at it, I might as well show you what's inside:
As you can see, this bag has room for ALL these notebooks. The bottom left one is pretty much exhausted and I only keep it around because I haven't digitized all of it. The mini composition notebook is just for scratch paper. The one next to it... It's kinda a secret. Then there's my pocket calendar... Totally getting a better/cuter one next you. Then there's my Moleskine. I reserve that for inspiration so there's not much in it. Then there's a receipt I found in my bag and a random writing that I kinda wanted to keep for some reason...
Need something? Chances are I have it. Tissue, regular lotion, those little Colgate Wisp thingies... My makeup bag (that I need to get unlazy and replace with my new one), a sample of Benefiber I picked up at my mom's doctor's office, a travel-sized bottle of B&BW's Paris Amour lotion (my fav scent), hand sanitizer, and store-brand Tylenol!
And last but not least, the useful stuff. Got my overstuffed pen case, an Aishiteruze Baby! case of some sorts, a little sock coin purse my sister-in-law gave to me, my Dior ID wallet, my Hello Kitty money wallet, my phone, and my house keys (which I keep separate from my car keys.
Yeah, I keep a lot in there.
I hope this bag lasts me long enough for me to get the bag that I really really want <3
And I'm sure you noticed the pictures are better :D I used my real camera for pictures rather than my cellphone. It's a rare event... What was I thinking XD
