It's pretty cold here. This morning when I woke up, it was a lovely 22F. The frost on my car looked like little snowflakes. It was beautiful, but I had to get out in it. And what better way to enjoy the cold weather than by looking cute.
They're boots with little pom-poms on them!!!!
I'd always wanted a pair of boots like them but I never had the extra money to buy any. However, this past summer, my mom bought them while I was out shopping with her. They were probably 2 or 3 seasons old, but they were deeply discounted ($7) so I really don't care. I have warm, cute boots with pom-poms!
And they're so fuzzy on the inside. Like stepping on a baby bear... <3
But that proved to be a problem. When I tried them on, I must have not had socks on and I remembered them sliding on perfectly. Then today, I put on a thin pair of socks and try to put my foot in... and it doesn't fit!!!!!! I went into a mini panic wondering how I bought shoes that didn't fit. Amazingly, when I took my socks off, I didn't even have to force them in. They just slid in as if they were coated in butter.
But I'm happy. I have some cute little boots that can keep my tosies warm while this winter gets really crazy.
In other news, I've taken another attempt at Steam. I had only gotten into it because my #duckroll friends (or was it someone from #irowiki) that had encouraged me to try out Portal when they were giving it away for free :3 Well, my video card isn't the best so that wasn't always enjoyable. But someone got a Steam account and bough Terraria and gifted a copy to me. We've spent a good bit of time playing in each others' towns and in our own. He does beautiful masterpiece homes while I just make little shanties...
He's so much better at the game than I am but I'm really enjoying it. I wonder if I could enjoy playing stuff on Steam more one day...
Well, I'm tired and cold tonight so I'm going to get close and intimate with my blankets while I let my iPod entertain me tonight.
